I have 2 yards of DF's Royal Blue fur, with about 6 inches cut off. Sorry for reposting, but a lot of people were interested, and the person who got it didn't follow through.
So I'm asking $30 and the first offer gets it ^^

Hi guys!
I recently refurbished one of my older suits and she's ready to go to a new home! She's a spotted chihuahua (or just spotted doggy) girl!

http://www.furbuy.com/auctions/1013 326.html
The auction is originally for the partial, but if bids go high enough the owner has the option of owning the body suit as well. It is made for a smaller person which is why I'm not including it outright.
Thanks for looking :3
Auction ends SUNDAY.

www.furnation.net
Furnation, one of the longest running furry websites, just ragequit the internet.
Quick summary of what happened:
Due to Furaffinity being down for the past few days, Furnation got a ton of new users. Earlier today, December 8th, PayPal shut down Furnation's PayPal account because they host pornography, which directly violates their Terms of Service. Nexxus flips out, and blames Dragoneer directly for the PayPal closure. Dragoneer and all of FA deny this, and instead of apologizing for being wrong and accusing them, Nexxus decides to instead completely shut down Furnation. And that's where we are now!

When I first embarked on this trip north, I had 2 possible plans for today. Plan A would be to drive all around northern CO (and possibly southern WY) in search of good trainspotting locations. Plan B, which would go into effect if the weather was really shitty, would be to head to the movies. Since the weather today was REALLY shitty, I put Plan B into operation. I drove a mile up the road to one of the new megaplexes. I had actually thought about walking, but with blowing snow and temps in the single digits, I decided to make the short drive.
I arrived at the theater for the matinee, and the ticket-seller was shocked to see me. I got my ticket for "The Fantastic Mr Fox" and was informed that I would probably have the theater to myself. Nope. 2 more folks showed up just before it began. I must say that it truly was a fantastic movie. I can't turn off the "furry bias" but I was enthralled by the movie. Once again, it was so "un-Hollywood." I had no idea where it was going. There were wonderful bits of randomness and deeper plot points where I least expected them. When it was over, the 2 other people in the theater actually started clapping. Closet furs? *lol*
Since it was still very early I decided to jump next door to see "Planet 51." I really had no desire to see it as a paying customer, but since it was just beginning, I decided to give it a try. This time I WAS the only person in the theater. It was not bad. For a kids' movie, it was actually pretty good. My favorite line when the alien kids see the astronaut naked; "That's a funny place for your antenna." Yeah. ok.

So I have these large plastic eyes that I am trying to fix for a client's costume.
They are red plastic globes, with black eye cutouts glued on top. They look really good except, their staff have scratched the heck out of the eyes. Ive managed to get rid of most of the bad discolored scratches using Goof Off which worked great. Except, there are large patches where the gloss of the eyes are completely gone.
( Image beneath cut. )
Anyone have any ideas what I can do to these things to make them glossy again? Is there a way to buff or shine them up?
My one idea I have is to tape off the area and lightly spray it with black gloss spray paint. Thats what we had to do with the old costume, but I was hoping to find some new way to repair this one, rather than multiple coats of paint... The red and the black plastic pieces are solid colors this time, not white and then spray painted the correct colors like they used to be.
EDIT: One suggestion was to use Shoe Polish and wax em up and then polish to a nice shine. This kinda worked. Filled in some of the gaps and shined up the others. Not bad for a quick fix.
Thanks!!

I officially hate the dentist. The one I went to was horrible, I laid in that horrible chair for like an hour before they would do anything, then they shot me in the mouth four times... AND DIDN'T WARN ME IT WOULD HURT LIKE HELL. Then, while fixing my 3 cavities he scrapped my gums and mouth.... The swelling is coming down, and my face is starting to hurt.
Although, Zeke was very amused that I sound like a retard, so we did have a bit of silliness xD

Note: LJ resized the image for me (thanks, LJ... 9_9) so it's a bit smaller than it should be. The icons ought to be 100x100p and look much better when I'm the one scaling them down. The full images are 300x300 and make great small portraits!
Also, the taco that D is eating is a BlackJack taco. ;3

Hello!
I am in need of a Kyuubi Partial completed & shipped for mid to late March MAX! By partial, I DO NOT NEED a huge 9 tailed tail though. I can probably make that myself (I hope) Only really need the head and if time permits I might also commission feet paws, and hand paws, but example of your work are a must because I'm going for a realistic look!
I'm aiming for something very accurate and with lost of teeth! A great example of what I am looking for can be seen here!

I tried to contact the maker of the suit without success. I can supply the fur, but I'm looking for the best possible match to this look and style. It needs to have good vision since the jaw will be closed and full of teeth. A fan would be nice, but it's not an absolute necessity.
If anyone is interested, the due date is critical and I would need to see examples of your work, a price with and without the accessories (feet & hands will need big claws too) & an estimate of how soon it can be done. I definatly don't want something quickly slapped together, I'm looking for a good quality head that's not going to fall apart very like the one pictured and I don't expect to pay next to nothing for it because I do want it to be great quality. If you are confident you can do it please contact me!
I CAN make it myself, but my skill level as it pertains to "making something LOOK like an existing character" is not so good. I'm much better at toony characters and I don't have the time to experiment. Either my eyes are too big, or the ears are too small, muzzle is too long (you get the idea) LOL! I'd like to commission someone with a better skill level then my own basically =)

I'm a little (2 months? xD) late in posting this, but I thought I'd share regardless.
My little brother, Anthony's elementary school (which happens to be the one I went to, at least here in California-land) was having their annual Halloween party, 'The Boogie Bash' and Anthony begged me to go with him. I agreed and intended to wear my Hamburglar costume to it, but I didn't get it finished on time. So I decided to wear my Chuck costume. So I got the costume ready and made some teeth for the head, and Anthony gave me some glow sticks to hang from Chuck's ear.
There was a LOT more kids there than I expected (way more than last year!), and they didn't have seats this time (how very convenient...). As soon as I got there I explained to my mom and grandma not to leave me at any time and to pay close attention to me. Of course, when we got there they kept wandering off. Silly parents. So we get in and kids start running up getting super excited that Chuck came to their little party. The adults/staff members were excited as well. I wandered around inside for the majority of the time, dancing with kids to Weird Al and Michael Jackson, but then I decided to go outside despite it being overcrowded. When I got outside, the party host ran out and got me and asked if I could lead their parade as their guest of honor. Which was pretty sweet. So I led the kids around the school, marching all triumphantly and whatnot. The entire night I had two or three specific kids just keep sneaking over near me to say hi over and over. SO adorable.
I was expecting to have a lot of problems with the older kids, but I didn't. I only had a few problems. One girl kept following me around screaming "He's a fake! He's a fake!", then trying to hug me to see if I had boobs or not (lol.), and finally my mom said "Well you're a fake bumblebee, why are you bothering Chuck?" and she went away. xDD Some other kid kept whacking me really hard across the back of my head, and my mom forced him to stay away from me (yay for having a mom that works for the school!), and my brother of all people kept harassing me and daring his friends to who could rip out my teeth the fastest. I jokingly bonked him on the head and his friends had a kick out of Anthony getting hit by a giant mouse. And lastly I had an ADULT try to steal Chuck's glow-sticks. Her SON had to tell her not to. How very sad.
All in all I was in costume for about an hour and a half. I only bonked a few heads with Chuck's nose, but the kids I bonked found it hilarious (as I'm trying so hard to pantomime "OMG I'm sorry!"), and only a few parents were suspicious of me (my mom assured them I was no threat). It was a really exciting experience, I'm really glad I wore Chuck instead of the Hamburglar. Perhaps next year I'll go as Jasper the dog?
Two pictures behind the cut. I wish we had gotten more!

sooo i thought id post a WIP of the suit ive been working on. i didnt get to work on it that much during the weekend than i expected.
well i got a bit of fur sewn together n thought id post to give you all an idea of the coat design i had gone for. im actually going to do the muzzle again i think i cut it wrong, but i trimmed it down to get a good idea of what this will look like finnished. cos the fur isnt even pinned on, the fur on the muzzle droops alot lower than the foam, but i love the shape so much i might alter the foam to give it a thicker muzzle!
( PICTURE )
im hoping that this will sell when im done. well thats about it. thanks for reading!

Just getting home from setting up a few paintings at Lazy Jane's Cafe & Bakery. If any of you Madison locals want to check it out, I have Eyeflowervagina, Snail Powered Industry, and #36 there, along with that happy hyena. Just a few smaller pieces right now, but theres a good chance they will want some larger pieces after the holidays. You need to check out the scary dolls upstairs.
Speaking of the holidays, I was thinking of printing out a design on postcards, and mailing out postcards this year for the season. I need to set up an address post in the next day or so.
In other news, WINTER STROM! It started snowing a few days ago, and never stopped. Fun times driving in the snow.
